Young Labour activists from Harrow and Brighton and Hove joined forces this weekend for our very own three seat challenge. We had Young Labour members pounding the pavements of Pavilion, Kemptown and Hove – all crucial marginal seats – to spread the word together. The weekend was a triumph. It cemented a partnership between Harrow and Brighton and Hove Young Labour groups which began in April with a joint campaign weekend in Harrow. Since becoming sister clubs, both Brighton and Hove and Harrow Young Labour have gone from strength to strength. The excitement of meeting other like-minded activists and thetogetherness of eating, sleeping and campaigning together simply cannot be beaten. We thoroughly recommend that other Young Labour clubs join forces to replicate activities such as the Labour Three Seat Challenge that engage young people and take the fight to the Tories. ———– Ben Young is chair of Harrow Young Labour @Ben_Young1 Matthew Lloyd is vice-chair of Harrow Young Labour @matt333lloyd Lydia Snodin is chair of Brighton and Hove Young Labour @authorgirl Lukey Stanger is secretary of Brighton and Hove Young Labour @lukey_stanger ———– Lab3seats returns to Brighton and Hove in 16 August.
